Protect yourself against flu
31 Jan, 2017
Flu causes serious illness and hundreds of deaths in Wales every winter – if you suffer from certain chronic illnesses, are 65 or over, or are pregnant you are at risk.
Flu vaccination is the single best way to protect from catching or spreading flu and is recommended for people who are most at risk to severe complications if they catch the visrus.
Ask your GP about getting your free flu vaccine if you are:
- Aged 65 or over
- Pregnant
- A carer
- Living in a residential or nursing home
- If you have a long term medical condition
